We are excited to start up our Wild Yoga Program once again!

Michelle Strenk has been with Wild as a client (and a fill in yoga coach) for over a year.   She is coming on board as our in house yoga instructor.

Michelle is a dental hygienist and caregiver. Seeking to find a deeper connection with herself and others, she found yoga and meditation. With a deep passion and devotion to the health and wellness of all beings, she is drawn to the need to bring the gifts of these practices to all. She completed her RYT-200 at Healium Hot Yoga and additional continuing education in trauma-sensitivity yoga. She is deeply honored to meet you just as you are.

We will start our limited yoga class offerings with the following… Yin Yoga on Sundays at 8 am.  First class will be Sunday, October 4th!

We will be moving our yoga practice to the main room at our Bootcamp gym to allow for proper spacing between clients.  Mats and props can be borrowed for the workouts, and we will clean them between classes (or feel free to bring your own).  With the larger room size, and the limited schedule to start, we will increase our Yin Yoga class capacity to 8 people.  (Don’t worry, the room is very large, and we will be able to space out quite well.)

Yin Yoga:

Yin yoga is a passive, slow-paced practice that fosters the ultimate connection between mind and body. Yin consists of a series of long-held postures that stretches and targets both the deep connective tissues between the muscles, and the fascia throughout the body. The aim is to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility as the postures stretch and allow opening of the joint areas. We will continually focus on postures that are historically tight areas of the body – the hips, lower spine and shoulders.

It differs enormously from our Wild Boot Camp and Small Group workouts… yet is the perfect complement! By adding a Yin (slow) practice to your Yang (vigorous) workouts, you are creating a beautiful balance within your energy systems and a unique sense of calmness you will feel both physically and mentally.

If you had Yoga passes in your account prior to our shut down, please send me a quick email at [email protected]com and I will reactivate those passes for you to use in our new program.

Classes start Sunday, October 4th at 8 am!
