May Client of the Month
Sara B!
Sara has been bringing some amazing energy to our Small Group and Personal Training Program. She is always up to do whatever our coaches throw at her! Check out what she has to say about why chose Wild and what she is enjoying about the experience.
How did you first hear about Wild Workouts & Wellness?
I was searching online for a gym where I could start my fitness journey. I remember not knowing where to start or what to look for. But I knew the moment I saw the Wild community that I was excited to try Wild.
Do you have a favorite exercise? What do you like about it?
I really like the rebounder! The movement and rhythm takes my mind off the fact it’s an exercise, so it feels more like playing.
Least favorite? What don’t you like about it?
Single leg wall sits. Is anyone able to hold one of those properly for 30 seconds plus?
What achievements are you most proud of?
I never thought I would be able to do wall sits and planks for the full rep. And my core actually has strength now!
Why Wild? What do you like most about Wild Workouts and Wellness?
Definitely the community. The trainers are all awesome individuals who care about your progress. Shout-out to Carla for being the greatest hype person and personal trainer, and Tom for being comedic relief. And shout-out to the 5:30 Wednesday evening crew! It is the highlight of my day to workout with all of you in small group.
What advice would you give to other Wild peeps?
Push yourself. Go for the extra rep after “And relax,” go for the dumbbell or kettlebell that is a bit heavier, or go for the harder modification. You can always go lighter if you have to, but you may be surprised by how strong you actually are. It’s a great confidence boost!
Do you have a favorite song or type of music for working out?
Not necessarily a favorite song or type. But I do love when the rhythm lines up with the workout perfectly. Imagine me making a fool of myself imitating a 80s valley native in small group: “Now push! Extend! And push! Extend! All together now!”
What are some challenges or goals you are currently working on?
I recently met my goals to do 60 second planks and wall sits, so I am in the process of figuring out my next goal. My goblet squats have been going up lately, so I may need to see how heavy I can go with the kettlebell on those.
