Mark K. has been chosen by our Boot Camp staff as our June Client of the Month!  Mark comes to the gym with a great attitude and ready to work everyday.  We really enjoy seeing him in class and are proud to celebrate his success.

How did you first hear about Wild Workouts & Wellness?

I first heard about Wild when my wife joined with a few of her friends. She seemed to have a blast going to the classes, and she kept encouraging me to go along with her to try it out. I finally took her up on the offer and instantly became hooked due to the fun instructors and great fellow bootcampers who I look forward to seeing at class.

Do you have a favorite exercise? What do you like about it?

I really enjoy the cardio related exercises like high knees, Icky shuffles, up and overs, and ladders. I just really like the fact they get your heart pumping and body moving and that there is no counting or thinking.

Least favorite? What don’t you like about it?

Bicycles! I have no idea why they seem so difficult for me as everyone seems to do them so easily while I feel like I am riding a bike uphill with 2 flat tires!

What achievements are you most proud of?

This is the first exercise program I have not given up on, and I am very proud of the fact I have attended 3-4 times a week for a few years now. I am also proud of the improvements I have made in my endurance and strength as I have noticed a huge difference from when I first started.

Why Wild? What do you like most about Wild Workouts and Wellness?

This is the best exercise program I have ever tried, and I like the fact that I just have to get there and follow along rather than trying to figure out a workout on my own. I really enjoy seeing the instructors and my fellow bootcampers at each class as it makes for such a fun environment and it makes the classes fly by when working out with friends. I also really appreciate that Wild focuses on not only your physical health but mental health as I have noticed a huge difference in how I feel both physically and mentally after attending a class – trust me I never thought I would look forward to work outs like I do now.

What advice would you give to other Wild peeps?

Definitely to stick with the program. I know the first couple of weeks and months can be really difficult and that you will be sore in places you never thought existed but it does get better! Also, I learned the importance of always having proper form as I have noticed significantly fewer issues since I started to focus on it.

Do you have a favorite song or type of music for working out?

Anything but country! I am an 80s rock kid so rock music is my favorite type of music to work out to at class.

What are some challenges or goals you are currently working on?

I am working on trying to achieve proper form during each exercise as I notice a huge improvement when I am told to make adjustments by an instructor. I am also trying to slightly increase the weights I use on a regular basis to try and push myself further with the weight intensive exercises.
