Dana has been a client at Wild Workouts for 3 years now. Recently, she has shown remarkable progress and perseverance after a health issue kept her away from Wild Workouts for an extended period earlier in the year. We all know how difficult it is to start over.  Dana accepted that challenge.  From strength, to endurance to form, she has matched or surpassed her previous fitness level.

She adds a wonderful sense of humor to the group sessions, and her calm compassion makes people around her feel better.
Adding to her Small Group accomplishments, Dana joined our Cycle & Strength class this fall and recruited her husband to join her. Once again, she embraced the new challenge and has thrived.

How did you first hear about Wild Workouts & Wellness?

I first heard about Wild on Facebook. I think it was Amy Mizialko who posted something. At the time, I was looking for a place to work out and added Wild to my list of places to check out.

Do you have a favorite exercise?

Anything with the Resistance Bands. What do you like about it? I like that they are generally forgiving yet they don’t let you slack. You can always find a place to work harder with the bands.

Least favorite?

Burpees What don’t you like about it? They are awkward and clumsy.

What achievements are you most proud of?

I’m most proud of the fact that I’ve been able to stick with it. I’ve never been sorry for showing up – only sorry for not.

Why Wild?

What do you like most about Wild Workouts and Wellness? I owe my stick with it-ness to the staff and the clients. Wild is a comfortable place to be. There is a ‘come as you are, where you are’ attitude in regards to fitness and strength. Each staff member works with all clients to meet them where they are at and move them forward. And the clients are easy going, friendly and supportive.

What advice would you give to other Wild peeps?

Stick with it. No matter what ups and downs you might go through, the Wild Staff has your back. Make sure you tell them what you need and they will make sure you get it. You can’t put a price on your health.

Do you have a favorite song or type of music for working out?

Tom’s eclectic taste is always interesting and fun!

What are some challenges or goals you are currently working on?

My on going goal is to keep at it. For an added challenge, I’ve started Cycle and Strength.
