Striding through the woods on cross-country skis changes winter from dreary to glorious and tops the charts for burning calories and building total body strength. It’s also as easy as putting one foot in front of the other.

Getting there can be the hard part. Questions like – where to ski, where to get skis and what skis to use – can seem insurmountable.

Wednesday, Feb. 19th,  7:30pm at our Boot Camp facility (2898 S Delaware Ave).

This workshop is free and open to the public.

Tom has been a Nordic skier for nearly 20 years and will display different types of skis, boots, poles and techniques. He also will share his picks for the best area trails and places to find equipment.
