• 3 to 4 pound pork shoulder roast seasoned with salt and pepper.
  • 3 apples peeled and chopped
  • 1 small onion chopped roughly
  • 1/2 to 3/4 of jar of cinnamon flavored applesauce

Place the onions and apples at the bottom of the crock pot. Sprinkle with some cinnamon. Take the seasoned pork roast and place in a frying pan.  Just brown the outsides.  Then place the roast on top of the apples and onions.  Pour the applesauce over the roast.  Sprinkle a little more cinnamon on top.  Cover and cook on high for 8 hours.
The meat is so tender and goes well with the soft sweet apples.
