We not only want to highlight Jenny’s weight loss and commitment to health, but her amazing attitude as well! Jenny is someone who looks forward to challenging herself and always seems to have a smile when doing it. She trusts the process and we’ve seen it work! Congrats Jenny, you’ve earned it!

What  made you decide you wanted /needed to start a training program?

Over the past few years my physical activity rapidly declined and in the year before I came to WILD, I was feeling really crappy. I had skin infections, a lack of energy and just started to feel sick. I started working on portion sizes and moving more, so when I received the email about Wild’s January Resolution Challenge, something clicked.  I immediately signed up.

What do you like best about Wild’s program & having a trainer?

WILD quickly became something I look forward to. I remember in my 3rd week thinking, “I get to workout tomorrow!” and being so excited. I still feel the same way and look forward to challenging myself with each workout.

What would you say to someone on the fence about joining our program?

Just do it! Invest in yourself!

Do you have a favorite exercise?  What do you like about it?  Least favorite exercise? What don’t you like about it?

Lifting heavy weights! It pushes me to focus on my form and I feel the work I am doing. I am constantly amazed by my strength and the progress I am making. I used to really dislike mountain climbers, but once I started thinking about my form, it became easier.

What achievements are you most proud of ?

Honestly, taking my health back is absolutely number one on my list. At my most recent appointment with my doctor, she was taking notes about what I’ve been doing because my numbers are all perfect – this was not the case before I changed my food and exercise habits. I’ve also gotten to the point where the smallest size in my closet is what I’m wearing. I will be shopping again soon. This is very exciting!

What do you like most about Wild Workouts and Wellness?

The team spirit in everything we do. Whether it’s boot camp, small group, a challenge, Couch-to-5k, or the In.Form program – everything at WILD is a team effort!  Everyone is welcoming, supportive, and encouraging!

What advice would you give to other Wild peeps?

Stick with it! Figure out what you are doing this for and focus on that.

Do you have a favorite song or type of music for working out?

I like most music, but sometimes a song comes on and you can just zone out and get the hard stuff done. “Eye of the Tiger” makes me want to do Rocky Sit-ups and “Proud Mary” just makes me want to swing a heavy kettlebell.

What are some challenges or goals you are currently working on?

I’m working on my mind game right now. I’ve accomplished a lot but I’ve got more to do. Staying in this and changing up what I’ve been doing (challenging myself to become a runner with Couch-to-5k) is helping me keep things fresh and continue seeing amazing change in myself.
