Vanesa has been working her butt off (and her waistline!) since she started Wild’s Boot Camp program in the spring… and can we talk about her form? Good form is something that has to be learned and then consistently used so it becomes more natural and ingrained and she has been mindful of taking corrections and applying them at every class. So we were all in agreement when her name was suggested for November’s Client of the Month!

How did you first hear about Wild Workouts & Wellness?

I wish I could take credit but it was my girlfriend who actually found out about Wild. She learned about the Spring Bootcamp challenge and thought it was what I needed. She was right!

Do you have a favorite exercise? What do you like about it?

Anything to do with squats. I’ve worked really hard to improve my form and get better with them.

Least favorite? What don’t you like about it?

Flying Nun. I hate the feeling that I’m about to fall and that’s all I think about when having to do them, haha.

What achievements are you most proud of?

Just making an effort and trying new things that normally I would find scary, haha. I was scared of working out and not seeing any improvements. I didn’t want to fail but I was so ready for change.

What do you like most about Wild Workouts and Wellness?

Every work out is different. Just when I think I know how to do an exercise the coaches switches it up. Also the coaches are unbelievable.  I was very nervous about taking fitness classes because I had little knowledge and skill. I just didn’t want to feel worse about myself but all the coaches at Wild are so helpful and motivating.

What advice would you give to other Wild peeps?

Believe in yourself.  I wish I would have believed in myself a long time ago. I would have started working out and eating better years ago. So just believe in yourself.

Do you have a favorite song or type of music for working out?

I listen to a lot of house and electronic music. Not stuff like The Chainsmokers, like real house/electronic music.

What are some challenges or goals you are currently working on?

To improve my core. Coach Danielle’s Core Camp really motivated and taught me new exercises that were somewhat enjoyable haha but in such a short time I saw results and it really motivated me to work harder to improve my core.
