Why WILD?
A couple years ago the gym I was going to closed suddenly.  At the time I was working long hours in a stressful job and just couldn’t get a fitness plan together. I’d seen Wild at neighborhood events so decided to stop in for the assessment, joined and have loved it since.  It’s so valuable to me to be able to just show up, do the work and get the results without having to be in charge of making the plan.  Also both the trainers and clients are so great so I’m always motivated to show up.
What accomplishments are you most proud of?
I had a couple of very specific goals this year. I wanted to squat more than 200 pounds and start running longer distances like I used to.  I maxed out my squat at 220 and ran my first 10k in 4 years.  I am most proud of being able to run regularly again because I had quit altogether years ago due to an injury.
What goals are you currently working towards?
For my next goals I am thinking about running a half marathon this spring that I have always wanted to do. I’m also flirting with the idea of 40 pound Turkish get up reps. I’m grateful to Wild for offering so many opportunities to try new things.
