How did you first hear about Wild Workouts & Wellness?
We live in the neighborhood and have walked our dogs past Wild for years. When I decided I needed a more structured workout routine, I decided to give it a try and was hooked.
Do you have a favorite exercise? What do you like about it?
I love hiking. But at Wild, it is probably skull crushers because it sounds dangerous, and I am always up for an adventure.
Least favorite? What don’t you like about it?
Jumping jacks, because for some reason they just don’t feel the same as they used to when you had to do them in grade school.
What achievements are you most proud of?
Since joining Wild my bone density loss stabilized overall and even improved slightly. Most recently, I did a backcountry hike in fly fishing excursion which required me to carry a 40# backpack for over 10 miles at high elevation. Thanks Carla and Tom, your coaching helped make that happen!!
Why Wild? What do you like most about Wild Workouts and Wellness?
Wild is a very supportive, positive environment, both the trainers and the other members. I also love that every workout is different, which keeps it interesting.
What advice would you give to other Wild peeps?
Just do it, even on those days you may not totally feel like it, remember, you always feel better afterwards.
Do you have a favorite song or type of music for working out?
I enjoy all types of music but I have to say, Tom has the best play lists.
What are some challenges or goals you are currently working on?
I am focusing on maintaining a healthy diet and increasing my strength because I know the other things I strive for will follow.
