How did you first hear about Wild Workouts & Wellness?
I originally found out about Wild just by doing a google search for group workout classes in Milwaukee. After meeting with Tara and attending one of Carla’s workouts I knew it was just what I was looking for.
Do you have a favorite exercise? What do you like about it?
My favorite exercise is the med-ball slam. I like it not only because it works multiple muscle groups but its a great way to let off some steam at the end of the day.
Least favorite? What don’t you like about it?
Mountain Climbers. Though I have improved, I still find mountain climbers to be my most difficult exercise.
What achievements are you most proud of?
One achievement I am proud of is just showing up to small group every week. I have wanted to lose weight for the past several years but had a difficult time sticking to a diet and workout routine until joining Wild. Another achievement was running in Wild’s St. Patrick’s Day 5K. This race was a large achievement because I know that a few short months earlier, I would have had a very difficult time running 3.1 miles. This achievement inspired me to sign up for Run Wild and begin running on a regular basis.
What do you like most about Wild Workouts and Wellness?
I love how friendly and encouraging the coaches and clients are at Wild. I found in the past that joining a new gym can be a very intimidating experience, but that was not the case at Wild. I love that clients of all ages and fitness levels can come together and make workouts not just bearable, but enjoyable.
What advice would you give to other Wild peeps?
I would tell other Wild clients to continue to push themselves and step outside their comfort zone.
Do you have a favorite song or type of music for working out?
I don’t necessarily have a favorite song, but I enjoy listening to anything upbeat. Carla and Tom do a great job of mixing it up so the music is always a surprise.
What are some challenges or goals you are currently working on?
One goal I have set for myself is to complete the Brewers 10K in September. I am looking forward to pushing myself to complete this challenging goal.
