At the end of August, Wild hosted it’s first Spirit Week! Clients and staff a like dressed up each day creating memories and enjoying themed based workouts.
Here’s A Recap Of 2017’s Spirit Week
Sunday: Triathlon Day
It’s been said that our coaches truly do “walk the walk” and in this case, they “swim, run and bike”. The day after completing her second triathlon of the summer, Coach Kate coached bootcamp in full triathlon gear.
Monday: 80’s Day
While the 80’s are always a popular hit, with the Solar Eclipse hitting the US for the first time since 2012 (and 1994 before that!) each workout was dually inspired by both instances. We heard there were Star Jump Burpees and big hair enjoyed by all.
Tuesday: Superhero Day
Wednesday: Animal Kingdom
It’s possible our coaches heard “Welcome To The Jungle” at least 3 times on Wednesday as every animal-inspired exercise under the sun was written in the workout- 18 to be exact.
Thursday: Sports Day
Being from Wisconsin, there were a lot of Packer and Brewer shirts worn on Sports Day. The good news is, they’re worn every other day of the week too 😉 Team spirit and friendly competition was felt at both our Small Group and Bootcamp locations this day- and even threw a few mid-workout stats around.
Friday: High School Day
Started by Coach Christy on Facebook, clients shared their high school photos on our client page and created a lot of laughter. To make things even better, the playlist for the day consisted of top graduation songs by decades starting in 1960-2010.
Saturday: Hat Day
Our coaches took hat day very seriously- for everyone who forgot a hat, there were “dunce caps” (made of cones) they had to wear. Not only do hats keep your sweaty forehead from dripping into your eyes, they’re quite entertaining for a themed workout.
