Renee Wagner – Success Story

Renee’s story is one of inspiration.  Her “never give up” attitude is why we are so proud of her.  Renee’s road has not been easy and had some MAJOR hurdles come up.  But like I said, she has never given up and has become stronger along the way.  Renee has lost over 40 pounds, has tackled stair climbs and is stronger and fitter than she has ever been.

We sent Renee these interview questions.  Read on to see what she had to say and get inspired!!

What made you decide you wanted/needed to start a program?

I have been fighting the numbers on the scale for years and years, probably because I have a love/hate relationship with food.  I remember going to other gyms and placing my kids in day care while I worked out, my kids are now 34 and 29!  I have joined Weight Watchers a zillion times as well as various 24/7 gyms and have had some success but nothing that has been sustained throughout the years.  I finally figured out that I have to be more accountable than just joining a gym, I need to schedule my workouts.

What results have you achieved since starting your program?

I have stuck with Wild for about 6 years now and even with a few health hiccups I have always managed to come back after taking some time off.  Because of that, I have learned a lot along the way.  I have learned that you cannot give up, I have learned that my Wild team is always there for me and I have learned that my health is very important and exercising and eating healthy is something that I can take control of.

What do you like best about our program/having a trainer?

I love having to be accountable and how each workout is different.  Just walking on a treadmill is about as boring as watching grass grow!  I love how the coaches not only talk about exercising but educate us about eating better and a vast amount of other subjects that pertain to our overall health.

What would you say to someone on the fence about joining our program?

I would say give it a try for at least 3 months.  I have found that the support I have received with nutrition and exercise far outweighs a 24/7 type gym.  Also, you form friendships and look forward to seeing them at your workout.  Everyone at Wild truly enjoys what they do and it shows through their actions.
