Corey has a great attitude and that’s why we chose her for client of the month.  She gives 150% in the workouts and shows kindness and encouragement to those she trains with.  Corey exudes positivity and has really made amazing changes (which you’ll read about in a little bit.)   Corey, thanks for being part of Wild!! We are proud of you and all you have achieved.

Do you have a favorite exercise? What do you like about it? Least favorite? What don’t you like about it?

My favorite exercise is a tie between windmills (I love how they hurt so good the next day) and band-assisted push ups (they make me feel tougher than I am!)

My least favorite exercise is pull-ups; the seconds tick by at a glacial speed when I’m up there and I think I’ve left some skin on the bar.

What achievements are you most proud of?

I’m most proud of the habits I’ve formed since starting the Best Me Program and the Nutrition Pilot Program (y’all should get in on that if you haven’t already!). I’ve really cut down on sugar and wheat and have much better breakfast and snack routines, have lost weight and have a lot more energy because of making some relatively simple changes.

What do you like most about Wild Workouts and Wellness?

I love the sense of community here. I look forward to seeing my Crack O’ Dawn crew every time, the support of the online community, the additional events and programs outside of the workouts – run group, nutrition program, etc. – it all makes for a really strong community of people helping and supporting each other.

What advice would you give to other wild peeps?

Try things that make you uncomfortable. I never would have tried run group, the nutrition program, or moving up very much in weights without being coaxed into it by my coach, but they were some of the best things I’ve done and they’ve given me more confidence and motivation. Try something new.

Do you have a favorite song or type of music for working out?

Coach Tom’s mixes are the best – he can get us all loudly singing classic hits while doing pushups at 5:30am, so he’s a pretty great morning workout DJ.

What are some challenges or goals you are currently working on?

I’m working on meeting my goals in the nutrition program – eliminating sugar, better meal prep – and running a bit on my own until I can get into the next run group session.
