March is all about Sister Power! So that’s why we’re celebrating Heidi and Holly Vanderbusch.  Wrapping up Resolution to Reshape Your Body Challenge both Heidi and Holly rose to the occasion with outstanding results!

These sisters did meal prep together and supported each other during their workouts. We LOVE having this dynamic duo at the workouts bringing their positive energy and workout intensity.

Congratulations to Heidi and Holly.

Read on and see why we’re so impressed by these rockstars!

Do you have a favorite exercise? What do you like about it? Least favorite? What don’t you like about it?

Heidi: My favorite exercise is flipping the tire. You can let all your frustrations out on that tire! My least favorite workout is burpees. No explanation needed.

Holly: Love: Turkish Get Ups, for sure. Everyone else seems to hate them.  I like that it’s a total body workout, especially when I go heavy on the weights. I really love any strength training workouts. Hate: I hate whatever exercise I’m doing when Jamie counts down the last five seconds in slow motion. Ha! But seriously, cherry bombs are the worst. They make me feel like a turtle that can’t get up. We also can’t forget mountain climbers.

What achievements are you most proud of?

Heidi: I am proud that I finished the challenge and came in 2nd place. It was really hard to change my food and stick to that change, but it got easier as time went on. Now I’m used to it!

Holly: I’m proud of the changes I’ve made to the food I eat.  I’m even more proud that they’re changes I feel like I can stick with. I’ve become more of a cook than I’ve ever been. It’s been pretty fun to search out and try new recipes. Being healthy has become about much more than just a number on the scale.

What do you like most about Wild Workouts and Wellness?

Heidi: I like the trainers at Wild. They have all been really helpful and know when to challenge you during your workouts! They also plan workouts that fun and full of variety.

Holly: I love the people and the fact that every workout is different. My job can be stressful and the workouts have really become integral to self-care. On days when I’m exhausted and really don’t feel like pushing myself, someone is always there to encourage me and give me an extra few pounds to lift.

What advice would you give to other wild peeps?

Heidi: Advice I would give to wild peeps is to take advantage of all the helpful things available to you like my fitness pal, nutrition group, extra workouts (like client appreciation and celebration core camp), etc.

Holly: Work out with a buddy! Doing the challenge and workouts with my sister helped to keep us both accountable. We also had a ton of fun. Logging food and exercise on an app like Myfitnesspal also helped to keep me on track.

Do you have a favorite song or type of music for working out?

Heidi: I would love to hear an all 90’s music day!

Holly: Sleater-Kinney and Pearl Jam – fast and loud. Occasionally Beyonce. It really depends on the day.

What are some challenges or goals you are currently working on?

Heidi: One goal I am currently working toward is keeping up with the nutrition to make sure keep off the weight I lost during the challenge.

Holly: Now that the challenge is over, I’m trying to incorporate more workouts at home. The power lifting class will also be an exciting challenge.
