Congratulations to our June Client of the Month!

Do you have a favorite exercise? What do you love about it?

My favorite exercise is Med Ball Slams.  It’s a great way to release the stress of the day, plus an awesome workout!

Do you have a least favorite exercise? What don’t you like about it?

My least favorite, hands down, are the Turkish Getups – I dislike EVERYTHING about them.  And don’t even get me started on scapular push-ups…

What achievements are you most proud of?

My weight loss is an obvious answer, but I’m also incredibly proud of the strength and confidence I have gained since working out at Wild.  Every time I think I can’t do something, I try it anyway.  It’s amazing what your body can do if you just trust it!

What do you like most about WILD Workouts and Wellness?

I love the support and personal attention I receive from the staff at Wild.  I know that if I have question, big or small, the staff are always there to help.  And something that continues to surprise me is that the clients are just as supportive!  I can’t even count how often another boot camper or a fellow runner has given me words of encouragement during a work-out to keep me going or a high-five after doing something particularly challenging.  Everyone roots for each other at Wild Workouts and you never feel like you’re at a boot camp without a friend!

What advice would you give to someone thinking about joining WILD?

Make yourself and your health a priority!  We often focus so much on the people and things around us – our families or jobs – and forget about how much WE matter. Working out 3-4 times a week when you have a family and a full-time job can really be a challenge, but I find the time.  I always remind myself that I’m doing the best for not only myself, but my family too!  Since starting Wild, I am a more energetic parent to my kids, more focused at work and a happier person.

What is your favorite type of music to work out to?

My guilty pleasure work-out music is Britney Spears!

What are some current goals you are working on for yourself?

I find that making short-term goals really helps keep me focused on them and not get discouraged or overwhelmed.  I have two goals right now – to lose 10 more pounds by June 15th and to complete the Run Wild session.  Run Wild is a challenge already and we’re only two sessions in – but it’s a challenge I look forward to overcoming!
