Q & A with Jen…

How did you first hear about Wild Workouts & Wellness?I came as a friend to a community day and I was hooked!

Do you have a favorite exercise? What do you like about it? I love flying nuns! (is that what they are really called?!?) It’s pretty cool feeling like a superhero.

Least favorite? What don’t you like about it?I would say box jumps were my least favorite because I found them terrifying after Danielle tattooed herself. But now I find them helpful because now I can jump high enough to reach things off the top shelf at Target. 😉

What achievements are you most proud of?When I first started I had hereditary high cholesterol, even with training to run a half marathon, but committing to my Wild workouts helped to lower all my levels and for two years I’ve had normal cholesterol!

Why Wild? What do you like most about Wild Workouts and Wellness? I love the positive community feel. I look forward to seeing the 5:30 am crew and working hard to support each other through the early morning workout. I really, really, really…(is that enough reallys?) love that each time I come it’s a different workout. I’ve never had the same workout twice! I love that!

What advice would you give to other Wild peeps? When the coaches say you can really lift heavier than you think, you really can. I’m thankful for coaches who put heavy weights in front of me because I would never have tried them on my own.

Do you have a favorite song or type of music for working out?I love my 90s jams! I often find myself hitting the beat on my bosu or squats!

What are some challenges or goals you are currently working on?To balance my eating habits with how hard I hit the gym. I just finished the 28 day challenge and really worked hard to eat more clean. I felt great and want to get back to better balance with eating. I also continue to challenge myself to lift heavier weights.
