We are so proud of Heidi for kicking so much butt lately, her efforts just had to be celebrated!  That’s why we chose her as our February 2014 Client Of the Month!

Heidi participates in both our Boot camp & Semi-Private programs and really brings it at her workouts.  As if our gym wasn’t bright enough with the green walls, Heidi really brightens up the gym even more each time she is here with her contagiously positive attitude & cheerfulness.  Heidi also gives it her all in our weight loss challenges here at Wild Workouts and Wellness.  In fact, she has consistently been one of the Top 8 Finalists!  In our most recent “Unwrap Your Best Body” Challenge, Heidi lost 8lbs and 2.2% of her body fat in just 28 days!  Very impressive!  Here is what she had to say about her results from the challenge:

“Prior to the challenge, I was still making progress at Wild Workouts and Wellness and enjoying my workouts, but I wanted to kick it up a notch.  I feel stronger, more balanced, capable and confident that I can do more than I thought I could.  My pants are getting baggy on me and I can see more muscle all the time. Both are great motivators.  My path is more clear now & I feel success in my future.  Thanks so much for the support!”

Outstanding!  We love encouraging people and watching them just take off with their fitness and health goals!  We also asked Heidi some questions about her experience here at Wild Workouts and Wellness – here is what she had to say:

What is your favorite exercise and why?

I don’t have one specific favorite exercise (and I’m still not good with their names), but I enjoy kettle bells, wall suspension (it’s still a strange sensation for me) and abdominal work, among others, and I always prefer weight training over cardio.

What is your least favorite exercise and why?

My least favorite exercise is anything that includes jumping.

What achievements are you most proud of?

I am proud of the commitment I’ve made to my health and of overcoming many of my fears and doubts that I had when it came to physical activity.

What do you like most about Wild Workouts and Wellness?

Wild Workouts and Wellness has been very supportive and I appreciate the workout variety and flexible options, plus the people have been great.  It’s actually fun to come here to exercise and it’s something that I look forward to doing almost all of the time.

What advice would you give for anyone reading this?

I’m not a good one for advice, but I’d say believe in yourself and give yourself the chance to succeed.

What is your favorite kind of music to work out to?

As for music, again, I like variety.  I think I’m partial to heavy bass when I work out and funk is always fun. It often depends on my mood and what I’m doing at the time, but it’s also nice to hear music that I’m not familiar with or wouldn’t normally listen to.

What are your upcoming goals and challenges you have for yourself?

I still have quite a bit of work ahead of me and I just have to keep myself focused and patient, continue to improve my physical fitness with the workouts and learn more about food (and cooking), moving more and more in the direction of “eating wild”.  I’m very much looking forward to continued learning and success!
