Carrie joined Wild in the summer of 2015. She has been working hard to lose weight and inches in the last few months. We are so proud of the success she has and can see so many changes. She has really gained more confidence in many areas – strength and stamina in performing daily tasks, taking on new challenges in life, support in eating and living well, and general well-being about herself and life!
What made you decide you wanted/needed to start a program?
When I first arrived in Wisconsin earlier this year from Pennsylvania, I was not comfortable in my own skin and desperately wanted to regain myself. The previous two years were wrought with several small forces negatively impacting my health, but ultimately resulted in a large life change (new career direction, new state, new start!), I knew it was time to use this new opportunity to bring a positive focus to my body, mind and soul.
What do you like best about our program/having a trainer?
The individual attention we receive in perfecting our form, as well as the motivation to push harder. Getting to know them on a personal level over the weeks and months really encourages me to keep my spirits up and enjoy my time ‘working’ out.
What would you say to someone on the fence about joining our program?
Wild is about so much more than exercising and losing weight. For me, the biggest values have been the support and the sense of community I feel each time I come. Because of this unique atmosphere, it’s been the first fitness program that I’ve stuck with and actually look forward to attending each week!
